AIOTI Days 2026 comes to Florence: a Conference on Generative AI, IoT and Edge Computing, September 28–29, 2026. This year's conference promises a dynamic lineup, including thematic and project sessions, the co-located ENACT Mid-term Symposium, and an opening keynote by the President of the City Council of Florence.
At the core of AIOTI Days 2026 is the exploration of how generative and agentic AI meet IoT and edge computing in the industrial space, recognising the journey from experimentation to real-world impact. The conference will explore themes: Generative and Agentic AI at the Edge, AI, IoT and Innovation Ecosystems, Sustainability and Green Enablement, Energy and 6G Convergence, Agristack, and Cultural Heritage.
Srđan Krčo will be one of the speakers in the Agristack session, sharing his insights and expertise on how Europe can build a stronger and more sovereign agritech ecosystem. Europe's ambition for food sovereignty, sustainability and competitiveness depends on its ability to develop and maintain strategic autonomy across the agritech value chain. Today, the sector still faces significant challenges, from ensuring accessibility in remote and connectivity-constrained rural regions to reducing dependence on non-European providers across the technology stack. At the same time, substantial investments and developments are already shaping the European agritech ecosystem, with open-source technologies, digital commons, standards and innovative frameworks creating new opportunities.
